Cuznbob’s 2001 BMW R1150GS

2001 BMW R1150GS-P. This is actually an ex Arlington TX Motor Patrol bike that I set up when it was new and maintained while it was in police service. It was then sold to someone in MI (my home State) then subsequently sold to a fella in TX who brought it to me to get running after sitting for a couple years. I then bought it from him before I actually new the history of it and realized I had worked on it when it was new! I stripped off the old giant spotlights and filled the holes with pike nuts, installed a Remus Cat eliminator and muffler, swapped the seat and needed parts for an 1150GSA seat, K&N air filter, lithium battery, removed the old clunky ABS II, installed new YSS shocks, Spiegler brake lines, Braking brand discs and pads, cut off 2” on the front fender, it came with the engine guard and Motolights.
